Robbery - O STREET AND WISCONSIN, WASHINGTON, DC - 02/21/2009 02:00 AM

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2009, two female graduate students were approached from behind while walking east on O Street from Wisconsin Avenue. They heard someone running behind them and turned around. They were confronted by an unknown male. He grabbed the purse of the first victim, broke the strap, and knocked her to the ground. He was unsuccessful in his attempt to retrieve her purse.
