Theft - NORTH PARKING AREA, BOSTON, MA - 09/24/2008 02:30 AM

A Hemenway Street resident called to report a man attempting to steal a bike on the corner of the North Lot. NUPD officers responded and found a man bashing a rock against the bike's lock. Police arrested 25-year-old Brandon George, who said he was homeless, for attempted larceny. The bike had minor damage.
